Aesteroid is an initiative to understand only one topic: WAR.

War has shaped human history even before civilization came into being. The oldest surviving mummy, the Otzi, was one of the first humans recorded in history to have died from war.

In several civilizations including the most peaceful Ancient India, we find War Chariots at Sinauli.

War has not only shaped human history, boundaries, cultures and life but also shaped how we use things or even how we sleep. Humans still think it is scary to sleep with your head towards the door. This is a remnant of the caveman genes in our body who was at war with Nature and Other Tribes.

During medieval times, war shaped how we traded and what we ate. It was due to war that the Silk Road met its end, and it was war with the Ottoman Empire that forced Europeans to seek a maritime route to India.

In the modern era, it was a war that led to the invention of things we find critical in our daily lives. Razor Blades used in World War 1 gave rise to precision medical-surgical equipment. Magnetic tapes in Nazi Germany gave birth to ATM Cards, CD Cassettes. Finally, Nuclear Energy was a result of an explosive created during the Manhattan Project (the first Atomic Bomb).
